Hello and Welcome!I am a licensed therapist and clinical supervisor who has dedicated my practice to assisting both victims and offenders of violence, abuse, and trauma. I specialize in treating self-esteem issues related to experiencing adversity, focusing on the impact that childhood and relationship abuse has on our sense of self and mental health. With over ten years of experience, I have assisted many of my clients overcome problems like eating disorders, addiction, relationship problems, depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues.
I am a trauma-informed therapist who aims to support you in building healthy life and relationship skills and ending negative patterns of behavior that keep you stuck. As a therapist, I am comfortable working in high stress situations and with people who have pervasive stress including those with disabilities or severe mental health and behavioral issues, first responders and front-line workers, and families with significant adversities or chronic conflict. Specifically, I have experience providing therapy to men, women, teens, and children who used violence or aggression toward others and would like to stop their use of abusive behaviors. My style of therapy is client-centered and I often use humor and a light-hearted approach to connect with my clients. In fact, the best compliment I have ever received was that my therapeutic approach “was like talking to a friend."
